What is a satchel

The term "satchel" often refers to a flat bottom made of leather, artificial leather, or canvas, with a strap attached. A small bag popular in Gongshan region of Yunnan.

The Dulong people weave a fine mesh bag with hemp thread, ranging in size from large to small, and use it with an oblique back on their shoulders.

If you are carrying a heavy object, place the bag on your forehead and carry it on your back. In Dulong language, it is called "oar".
