- Before using a new bag, apply a layer of wax to the surface to help prevent dust buildup. The corners of leather bags are the most vulnerable to damage, so applying colorless nail polish to these areas can help prevent scratches and deformation.
- Don't use the same bag every day. After using it for a while, give it a rest for a day or two and transfer the contents to another bag. Unused bags should be stuffed with paper to prevent deformation and maintain their durability.
- When the leather bag is exposed to sweat or strong sunlight, it is prone to staining or discoloration. Therefore, you should regularly pat and polish expensive bags. Avoid using shoe polish, as it can damage the leather.
- If black spots appear on the leather bag, first wipe off the oil residue. Then mix a small amount of wet glue (such as strong carpentry adhesive) and apply it evenly to the affected area. Finish by applying a bright wax to restore the leather to its original condition.
- Avoid contact with sticky substances and moisture.
- When leather bags are not in use, it is best to store them in a cotton bag instead of a plastic one. The lack of air circulation in a plastic bag can cause the leather to become too dry and damaged. It's also a good idea to stuff the bag with soft toilet paper to help maintain its shape. If you don't have a cloth bag, an old pillowcase can also work well.
- Do not expose leather bags to direct sunlight for long periods, as this can cause the leather to dry out, leading to orange shrinkage in the fibers, as well as hardening and cracking.

- If your leather bag gets drenched in rain, wipe it dry and place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry. This helps prevent mold growth.
- If you won't be using your bag for a long time, stuff it with paper to prevent it from losing its shape.
- Real leather bags are delicate and can be prone to scratches.
- If your real leather bag becomes moldy, wipe it dry with a soft cloth, then apply a leather care agent such as Bilizhu.
- For metal components on leather bag accessories, wipe them with a dry cloth after each use. If slight oxidation occurs, gently rub the metal with flour or toothpaste. Painted leather bags generally only need to be wiped with a soft cloth.
